Overcoming Overwhelm

It can be incredibly challenging holding a leadership, managerial, or supervisory role these days.

 

It can feel as though you are under pressure from all directions - trying to keep up to date with what's happening in your industry, ensuring your direct reports are motivated and on track, dealing with an overflowing inbox, and somehow meeting your own objectives. 

It's no wonder that many leaders - no matter how skilled or motivated they are - end up feeling overworked and overwhelmed. 

This one-to-one coaching programme aims to equip leaders with the knowledge and tools they need to break free of the burnout cycle and get back to thriving. 

The programme 

This programme is designed specifically for leaders who are struggling with overwhelm in the workplace.

It comprises EIGHT online coaching sessions that can be scheduled to suit your schedule and pace of learning (people typically go for weekly or fortnightly sessions, but this isn't fixed).

Each session will delve into a particular theme or topic, but the practices will be tailored to you and your real-life scenarios. We will look at: 

  • Nervous system regulation

  • Different types of capacity 

  • The relevance of boundaries in the workplace and why it can be hard to use these in a healthy way

  • Discernment and specificity as key protectors 

  • Supporting others to support you 

The focus of my teaching is on creating a space for you to experiment, have embodied experiences, and talk about anything that is being stirred up. We are going beyond conceptual understanding and working with your body and mind together to build greater self-awareness.

You will receive homework to complete between each session to support your learning and integration. 

 

Please note that this programme is not therapy or a substitute for therapy. As part of the intake, we will discuss what support networks you have in place, and how resourced you feel to participate. 

Learning Outcomes

Greater awareness of habits and default behaviours when responding to requests, and the impact these have on your wellbeing AND effectiveness as a leader​

Practical methods of assessing and communicating different types of capacity, which you can also apply within your teams.

Embodiment techniques that give you greater response flexibility and range e.g. keeping calm under pressure.

What's included?

EIGHT x 60-minute online sessions, delivered via Zoom.  

Homework practices sent to you between sessions via email to support integration and learning.

Learning Methods

This is an embodiment-focused training, meaning that we go beyond building conceptual understanding into creating lived experiences of different states in the body. 

The programme includes a mixture of learning through theory, discussion, self-reflection, embodied practices, and practical application. 

The Cost

The cost for the programme is £1250, which gives you eight hours of session time with me PLUS homework practices to reflect and integrate between sessions.
