The Capacity to Lead course

Being an effective leader these days depends on more than just strategies, performance, and decision-making. It's about having the capacity to sit with complexity and uncertainty, to hold power responsibly, and to manage ourselves.

As a future-ready leader, you will be the guide who keeps in touch with what is meaningful to you, your team, the audiences your organisation serves, and to our wider society. A key part of your role is to see the organisation as something that fuels the individuals rather than the other way around. You will be able to create the psychological safety required in your team for employees to innovate and thrive, which will include fostering vulnerability and authenticity.

Where we as humans can add value is in our humanity.

As someone who has been studying the topics of leadership and power for the past 15 years and diving deep into the lived experiences and impacts of these on our psyche, I believe there is a vital role for human leaders to play in our future workplaces, but they are going to need a vastly different skillset.

This course offers a deep dive into Embodied Leadership. It is intended as a follow on from The Essentials of Embodied Leadership course.
