Expand your capacity to thrive in complexity
I help people to practice regulation, range, and resilience so they can navigate life with greater awareness and choice.
Practical frameworks for expanding human capacity in complex relationships, leadership, and organisations.
Thriving shouldn’t be for the few whilst the rest of us merely survive. Thriving is something we are all capable of experiencing when we understand the capacities and virtues it requires and when we have the space to practice them.
Whether you’re leading a team, navigating a relationship, supporting others professionally, or simply trying to live with greater courage and integrity, you have the capacity to thrive.
The Dare to Thrive Framework
Rather than chasing a meaningless metric or a short-lived uptick in performance, this framework helps people to develop capacities that allow them to meet complexity with greater agency and authenticity.
Within the framework are four foundational capacities upon which everything else is built:
-
Regulation - remaining present and responsive under pressure
-
Range - being able to think, feel, and respond to the situation in front of you
-
Resilience - the ability to reset following challenge, NOT to simply endure
-
Relationality - understanding your interconnectedness and being able to stay in connection, even when things are difficult
These core capacities underpin every area of life. They shape how we lead, communicate, make decisions, and respond to uncertainty.
This framework is continually refined through relational practice and brought to life through organisational development, practitioner training, and community learning.
Why do this?
This capacity-focused approach enables more than a conceptual understanding as insights alone don’t lead to different behaviour under pressure. This is about building our ability to bring our values, skills, and intentions into the moments that matter most. Thriving is about increasing your ability to remain engaged with life in all of its uncertainty, intensity, and challenge.
As you do this, you will be able to:
-
Communicate clearly
-
Relate authentically
-
Navigate intensity, discomfort, and change from an empowered place
-
Hold healthy boundaries
-
Act with integrity under pressure
-
Build relationships and a life that genuinely feels meaningful
This is not performative personal development, or a promise to make the world feel more comfortable - this is deep work for those who want to learn how to be robust humans in a chaotic world.
What I bring
My work is shaped by more than 20 years of embodied practices and an unusual depth of experience with power, leadership, relationships, and transformation.
I spent 10 years studying and teaching martial arts, 18 years building a career in marketing and corporate leadership, and started my obsession with power dynamics when I completed my MBA dissertation on followership in the workplace. Alongside that, I pursued extensive professional training in embodied facilitation, coaching, relational work, and power dynamics - including training as a Certified Dominatrix as part of a deeper exploration into power, consent, and psychology.
In 2021, I left corporate life to dedicate myself to this work.
For me, embodiment is not a trend or coaching add-on. It is a long-term commitment to developing these same capacities that I employ in both my professional work and personal life.
As a queer, non-monogamous solo parent, I understand how difficult it can be to step outside of norms and build a life that feels genuinely aligned with who you are! I have felt the tension between the desire to be seen for who you are and the need to protect a sense of belonging. And I appreciate how that can lead us to stay small, disconnected, or hidden to feel more comfortable or safe. I also know however, the aliveness that comes from knowing yourself deeply, inhabiting your body fully and unapologetically, and relating to the world from that place.
I am in my element when dealing with all of the complexity, contradiction, and nuance that real-life relationships bring, and love the challenge of creating models and frameworks that help people to make sense of their experiences.
Who I work with
Here are the key contexts in which the Dare to Thrive framework is currently being applied:
Leaders
Future-proofing the role of leadership by developing the uniquely human, relational capacities that tomorrow's workplaces will demand.
Organisations
Working with forward-thinking organisations who understand the value of psychologically supportive work environments.
Practitioners
Training and mentoring fellow coaches, therapists, facilitators and other helping professionals to strengthen their own capacity to hold complexity in the individuals or groups they work with.
Individuals
Helping individuals build more fulfilling relationships with themselves and others, greater emotional range and choice, and relational readiness through embodied awareness and relational rehearsal spaces. Find out more about this dedicated relationship practice.
Community & Collective Learning
Creating spaces for deeper exploration, experimentation, and shared learning around ethical and power-conscious relating
The Dare to Thrive Framework doesn’t live in the pages of a textbook. It lives and breathes in this ecosystem where it is continually tested, refined, and deepened in the context of real-life human relating.
This work is for people who are ready for transformation through lived experience rather than intellectual insight alone. It's for individuals willing to engage honestly with themselves, their patterns, their desires, and their relationship with power.
